Paul, just discovered this wonderful site. I have strong roots to MacPhails in Stormont County, Ont. (Roxborough Township, just beside Cornwall Twp).I'm aware of the Cornwall McPhails but do not believe the two families are connected (if anyone can share info on this, I'd be grateful). I can help those looking for info on the Roxborough MacPhails.

My ancestor George Little born in Armagh,Armagh ,Ireland was enlisted in the 74th regiment of foot and discharged in Nova Scotia -he resided and died in Halifax,NS. I am very interested if anyone has any more information on this regiment - history names etc. I would greatly appreciate it . Thank-You Andrea
